"If The Fuck-Me Pump Fits..."
(and people wonder why my mother doesn't have this URL.)

Question: Would you buy a pair of shoes even if they were uncomfortable?

A week ago, I'd have told you that the unequivocal answer to that was 'No, of course not, do I look stupid?'

However...

They're dark red. Slick, patent-leather shiny glossy red. They're tall -- like, three inches. I've never worn three-inch heels in my life. They're drop-dead gorgeous, and they were on sale for half off. Wow.

Real live girl-shoes. *Blink* They were also the last pair, and they must run big 'cause they're marked a half-size smaller than what I usually wear (which is an 8, if anyone wants to buy me some shoes.).

Vis á Vie, in the style 'Regina', size seven and a half. I _need_ a pair in black.

I haven't yet found any pictures of them online, but I'm still looking.

I'm really unexcited by Crosswinds' continued laxness on the part of their FTP service. I'm not too thrilled by the popups, either. I still think Tripod doesn't have enough room for me, but I have no idea if that's true or not. I'm not interested in finiding out, right now.

So I thought I'd give TopCities a try. The funny thing is, none of their member pages have popups, but if you get a 403 or a 404, you get popups for days. I've been working diligently to make sure all my links work... I'm pretty sure they do, with the possible exception of the 'Main' ones. Anyhow, all I have up are the fiction and smut pages, so far. Art's up, but I can't remember if it works or not.

The banner ads are supremely annoying, to me, and so I'll probably, eventually, move it all somewhere else.

Okay. Must go transcribe. _Then_ I can either A) do fun with links or B) pester my mother into taking me to The Look. I hate shopping for a purse...

*Snicker* I keep forgetting to add -my- comments to the general populace's. I've looked at The Williamsburg Picture three or four times, now, and every time my thoughts go in exactly this order: "Awww! It's The Collective! That's so cool..." "Stan... Honey, that mustache is just... Um." [insert helpless, guilty giggling here] I'm -sorry-, I really am, and I try not to, but it just amuses me to no end. Sumimasen, gomen, gomen... *Snerk* But it -is- a great picture, and it makes me happy every time I see it.
